My Story

My Story

Like many people who come to the United States, I arrived with a simple but powerful motivation: to build a better life, become a better version of myself, and make the most of every opportunity ahead of me.

For years, that meant building businesses, developing expertise, solving problems, and continually moving forward. Then, in 2020, life changed in a way I could never have anticipated.

A spinal cord injury left me disabled. Almost overnight, I went from being fiercely independent and self-sufficient to depending on others for some of the most basic aspects of daily life. As a friend jokingly—and rather accurately—put it, “You walked in, and you were wheeled out.”

That experience turned my world upside down.

I had spent a lifetime being the person who found solutions, helped others, and figured things out. Suddenly, I had to learn something entirely different: how to ask for help.

That was harder than I imagined. I had to learn how to accept assistance while maintaining my independence of thought, my dignity, and appropriate boundaries. And because this happened during the COVID years, when normal social interaction had largely disappeared, I often had to rely on people outside my usual circle. It was an uncomfortable lesson in vulnerability, trust, patience—and perseverance.

For the next five years, I focused on rebuilding.

Medical procedures, physical therapy, acupuncture, determination, setbacks, small victories, and a great deal of persistence became part of everyday life. What once seemed like an extraordinarily long road gradually became a journey measured by progress rather than time.

Today, I am proud to say that I am independent again.

I still have physical limitations. My stamina isn’t what it once was, and returning to the demanding travel and work schedule I maintained in the past simply isn’t realistic.

So, I faced another problem to solve:

How could I continue sharing a lifetime of knowledge and experience without returning to the life I had before?

The answer was not to recreate my old life. It was to create something new.

That is why I built this platform.

It allows me to share what I have learned through decades of business, entrepreneurship, consulting, insurance, and problem-solving in ways that are practical, accessible, and useful to others.

My goal is simple:

to turn what I know into knowledge you can use.

Explore the websites, tools, resources, and learning opportunities I’ve created. I hope you find an answer, an idea, or perhaps a different perspective that helps you move forward.

And if you don’t find exactly what you need, you can book a brief consultation with me for a nominal fee. Sometimes the most useful resource isn’t another article or course—it’s simply a conversation with someone who understands the problem and can help you see the possibilities.

I encourage you to Turn What I know into Knowledge You Can Use
